JACK NARDI (Head of the Technical Director
Training Program, Executive Technical Director and Sound Supervisor
of the Connecticut Repertory Theatre and Associate Professor
of Dramatic Arts in Technical Theatre and Sound Design): MFA
University of Connecticut. Professor Nardi was the Technical
Director at StageWest in West Springfield and has toured nationally
as the sound engineer with the road companies of THE MUSIC
MAN, starring Dick Van Dyke; SUGAR BABIES, starring Carol
Channing and Robert Morse; and THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE
IN TEXAS, Houston Company. In Boston, he designed sound for
the Charles Playhouse world premiere production of TOM FOOLERY
by Tom Lehrer, while serving as Technical Director/Production
Manager for the Theatre Arts Division of Emerson College.
Mr. Nardi has also served as a consultant to the Property
Management Division of Aetna Life and Casualty in Hartford.
As a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage
Employees Local #84 in Hartford, Mr. Nardi has worked on numerous
rock and roll touring stage productions at the Hartford Civic
Center and the Bushnell Memorial and served as project supervisor
for Drobka Scenic Studios in East Hartford.
